Important Steps to Start Building a Home with 10X Builders

1. Pre Approval

Getting a pre-approval from your lender is a crucial step in this process. Your pre-approval will tell us how much you can afford and help us decide how much to spend on your lot and construction.

2. Find Your Lot

Finding a lot is more than buying a piece of dirt. We will need to match your lot to your lifestyle. Whether you need 5 acres in the mountains or a small piece of heaven in the city, we will help you find what you want. 

3. Design Your Home

Our architect will design your home to your specific needs. Steps 1 and 2 are important to help keep your design within budget and to ensure the home actually fits on the selected lot.

4. Permit Process

Once the design is finalized, we will get the plans engineered and submit all necessary documentation to the city for permitting. Permits can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the city. 

5. Break Ground

Once we have the permit from the city, we are cleared to begin construction! This marks the end of the pre-construction process and the start of building your new home!
